Glacier National Park really is a sight that you will never forget. We recommend coming here during the off season so you can enjoy taking a scenic drive and going hiking without packs of tourists on the trails.  

Whitefish Lake 

Another great unique activity to do during your trip to Whitefish, Montana is to check out the nearby Whitefish Lake. With ice-blue water and great views over the surrounding forests and hills, this incredible lake is great for bringing a picnic, heading out on a boat, or sunbathing. Plus, the views over the nearby pine trees and the rolling hills are the perfect getaway from the more crowded downtown area.

Whitefish Mountain Resort 

If you haven’t guessed it already, Whitefish is meant for those who like to be outside! Head to Whitefish Mountain Resort to do high-energy activities, like zipline and ropes courses, or zip down the mountain at high speeds with your trusty mountain bike. If you would rather come to Whitefish during the off-season, we think the winter is the best time to check out the resort. You can ski or snowboard miles of trails and check out the incredible views of the nearby town down below.  

Flathead National Forest 

Last but not least, we have the Flathead National Forest. This serene and picturesque getaway is less crowded than the previously named Glacier National Park, making it the perfect escape for those who really just want to get away from the noise of it all.
