Are you curious about what the beautiful town of Whitefish looks like from thousands of feet in the air? Well, we have the ideal activity for you and your family to do during your fun-filled holiday in the breathtaking town of Whitefish. Instead of just going hiking around the nearby mountains, kayaking on the lake, or shopping at the vintage shops, check out tandem skydiving! Whitefish Skydiving provides a scenic and eye-catching flight with incredible glacier views, snow-capped mountains, bright blue lakes, and rolling green dills — from a whopping 10,000 feet high in the sky!
Why Skydive in Whitefish?
If you want to see the flora and fauna from high above sea level, then take the tandem jump! This tandem jump costs just $299, so it won’t break the bank — and the memories will be priceless. You can also purchase a photo and video combo add-on to commemorate the Whitefish skydiving experience for $129 or a photo-only add-on for just $69. Take an unforgettable selfie!
Curious about what the process will look like? Don’t worry — we have answered all of your questions ahead of time, so you are confident before your jump.
Firstly, your flight will start with a 20-minute flight in a safe plane above the Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park. Once you reach 10,000 feet, you will then make the jump and slowly fall to the ground down below with your qualified professional.
Secondly, you must be older than 18 years old to perform the jump and weigh less than 235 pounds for the safety of yourself and the tandem skydive instructor.
Thirdly, keep in mind the importance of the landing procedure. During the registration and sign-up procedure, you will be briefed regarding the landing technique. This ensures that your legs are not used to brace during impact, and you stay safe throughout your jump.
Lastly, the jump lasts around 1.5 hours in total, but we recommend giving yourself around 2-3 hours based on the weather, location, and logistics.
