You can even pack a tent and go backpacking here in the wilderness!
We recommend trying Highline Trail for your first day. This high-up trail is perfect for getting incredible views of the surrounding area, featuring far-reaching views during the entire trail. Another cool trail to try is the Grinnell Glacier day hike to the very edge of a bright blue glacier, featuring large aqua-colored lakes, alpine meadows, lush green forests, and wildlife along the trail.
More trails you should consider during your stay in Whitefish are Pitamakan Dawson Loop featuring two lakes, Iceberg Lake with jagged cliffs and large glacial structures, Hidden Lake Overlook for a kid-friendly saunter, or Ptarmigan Tunnel with dense forests and steep slopes.
